Base and column support arm

Made from monolithic cast iron of the highest quality with ribs in the

points subjected to the greatest stresses, so as to allow maximum

rigidity to the grinding head.

Grinding head motor

Composed of a special externally ventilated and dynamically balanced three-phase motor, whose spindle, of large dimensions, rotates on special bearings suitable for high speeds, with automatic take-up of play.

Column:

Cast in cast iron, mounted on the appropriate arm by means of large-size adjustable conical roller bearings, to allow maximum

rigidity against bending.

Rapid vertical feed

Obtained by means of a graduated handwheel that acts on a pair of

helical gears, so as to allow a feed of 2 mm

per revolution.

Micrometric vertical feed

By means of a micrometer knob placed on the handwheel drum; it can be engaged or disengaged, allowing direct readings on the handwheel vernier

of 0.01 mm.
