SIL 208

SIL 208 is a single-phase inverter MMA welding machine designed for light-duty applications, making it a practical choice for repairs and small welding jobs in the workshop or outdoors.

With a maximum output of 80 A in direct current, SIL 208 can weld electrodes with diameters from 1.6 to 2.5 mm efficiently. It is compatible with rutile electrodes and can be used on a range of metals, including steel, stainless steel, cast iron and more.

The machine runs on a single-phase 230 V supply and, thanks to its low energy consumption, can be used with reduced installed power (3 kW).

SIL 208 delivers excellent arc striking and a stable arc, with simple operation via a single control knob and several welding assistance functions:

• Hot Start: adds extra amperage during the first seconds of arc ignition to help reach the ideal welding temperature.
• Arc Force: reduces the risk of the electrode sticking to the workpiece, helping maintain a smooth welding process.
• Anti-sticking: if the electrode does stick to the workpiece, the welding current is automatically reduced to a few amps, making it easier to release the electrode.
