SIL 208

SIL 208 is a single-phase inverter MMA welding machine designed for light-duty applications, making it a practical choice for repairs and small welding jobs in the workshop or outdoors.

With a maximum output of 80 A in direct current, SIL 208 efficiently welds electrodes from 1.6 to 2.5 mm in diameter. It is compatible with rutile electrodes and can be used on a range of metals, including steel, stainless steel and cast iron.

The machine runs on a single-phase 230 V supply and, thanks to its low energy consumption, can be used with a reduced installed power of 3 kW. It offers excellent ignition characteristics and a stable arc, with simple operation via a single control knob and welding assistance functions.

• Hot Start: adds extra amperage during the first seconds of arc ignition to help reach the optimum welding temperature faster.
• Arc Force: reduces the risk of the electrode sticking to the workpiece for smoother welding.
• Anti-sticking: if the electrode does stick, the welding current is automatically reduced to a few amps to make release easier.
• Included accessories: direct welding cables, earth clamp, electrode holder and carry case for easy transport.
