Particularly accurate screw spindle machining, obtained in an environment kept at 20°C. The screw is fully hardened and stabilized; after roughing the thread, it is subjected to a special ageing treatment before finishing, to avoid variations due to residual internal stresses. Contact surfaces are extremely finely finished to Ra 0.025 µm.
