SIL 417 is a single-phase inverter MMA and TIG welding machine, expertly designed for light-duty applications, making it perfect for repairs and small welding tasks, both in the workshop and outdoors.
With a maximum output of 170 Amps in direct current, the SIL 417 can efficiently weld electrodes with diameters ranging from 1.6 to 4,0mm. It is compatible with rutile and basic electrodes and is capable of welding various metals, including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and more.
The machine operates on a single-phase power supply of 230 volts, and due to its low energy consumption, it can be utilized with reduced installed power (4 kW Max).
SIL 417 boasts excellent ignition characteristics and a stable arc, ensuring ease of use with a single control knob and various welding assistance features:
- Hot Start: Provides additional amperage during the initial seconds of arc ignition, facilitating the attainment of the optimal welding temperature.
- Arc Force: Minimizes the risk of the electrode sticking to the workpiece, ensuring a smooth welding process.
- Anti-sticking: If the electrode does stick to the workpiece, the welding current is automatically reduced to a few amps, simplifying the release of the electrode.
TIG welding with scratch starting, using a torch with a tap to control the shielding gas, allows minute work on small thickness mild steel and stainless steel sheets.
Promotion Pack: welding cables, ground clamp, electrode holder and Welding helmet with auto-darkening filter LDC DIN 11.
