The machines all have a removable spindle to allow the use of the extended spindle for surface grinding operations. The grinding head axis can rotate 360° in the horizontal plane and can be tilted by ±20° in the vertical plane. The grinding head spindle has two ends for mounting the wheel and can rotate in both directions for the “R” and “RI” versions, with the two fixed speeds, and for the “V” and “VI” versions, with a variable speed drive.

The longitudinal carriage slides on a pair of preloaded cross-roller guides in tempered steel, ensuring high load capacity and preventing tipping at the end of travel.

The upper table can be oriented ±90° in the horizontal plane.

Dual controls make the machines easier to use for sharpening operations.

In the “RI” and “VI” models, the hydraulic equipment gives the longitudinal carriage an automatic translational movement, with speed adjustable from 0.1 to 12 m/min.

A position limiter on the speed controller allows setting a feed speed so that the instantaneous change from the stop position to the selected working speed can be performed. On all models, the horizontal control of the vertical movement can be applied.
