Special electropermanent magnetic planer beds with quad-pole pattern, 50 mm

The ULTRA QUAD magnetic clamping systems ensure flexibility and fast workpiece positioning in machining centres. Thanks to the quad poles, a uniform magnetic clamping is achieved.

The high clamping forces developed allow machining of various parts ranging from moulds to more demanding workpieces such as forgings.

Advantages

Among the many advantages offered by the use of UQ, there is the possibility to machine five free faces in a single setup.

In fact, by using fixed polar expansions it is possible to machine while raised from the magnetic bed, performing surfacing, contouring and through-hole drilling without any interference from clamps.
