These micrometers have the same features as the ME series, differing only in their use: checking threads. Therefore, holes are provided for inserting tips and thread anvils on the moving and fixed anvil. In addition, the fixed anvil
is fitted with a setting ring for setting the micrometer to zero. Thread tips and anvils are provided for: METRIC, WHITWORTH, ISO, TRAPEZOID, AMERICAN. (not supplied)
The accuracy due to the micrometer screw spindle, as for normal micrometers, is 0.003 mm.
