Description
These micrometers have the same characteristics as the ME series, differing only in their intended use: thread checking. Therefore, holes are provided for inserting points and thread anvils on the moving and fixed anvil. In addition, the fixed anvil is fitted with a setting ring for setting the micrometer to zero. Thread points and thread anvils are provided for: METRIC, WHITWORTH, ISO, TRAPEZOID, AMERICAN. (not supplied)
The accuracy due to the micrometer screw, as for normal micrometers, is 0.003 mm.
